Post how can I make my car look like "Eleanor"

My friend has a 1967 fastback. He has falled in love with the 1967 Shelby GT 500 from the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". Does anyone know if anyone makes the front end or was it all custom.

I'm pretty sure it was all custom but I'm not positive...

It takes lots of money. you know the green stuff. Nope no one fabricates that kit. The other thing why would you want to copy someone else? Make your own look. Design your own kit.

I think Tony D. Branda has most of the fiberglass front end, side scoops, and rear end replica Cobra pieces. Lots of the other Cobra stuff too. Don't have the URL handy, but I'm sure it'll show up in a Cobra parts search.

Did you know that that car isn't even a real 1967 Shelby? They completely designed that car from the ground up for that movie. They built it with clay models and everything, just like designing a new car to sell off the showroom floor. They just kind of modeled it after the Shelby, quite a bit I guess. They exaggerated many of the lines to make it look more sleek, tougher, faster, etc. Just thought I'd tell you guys that. See ya.

I disagree, they were real shelby's. The movie company bought like 8 or 9 of them and then ruined them all with the stunts. But you can buy whats left for $50,000.

er.....sarcasm!!

1966 Baby blue Coupe, 289 w/ man. 3-speed, nothing special but the fact that it is my first mustang. I am a former import guru....no more.

I've never run it except on the street, it has new wheels & tires, new exaust, and that about covers it. Looking to change a lot in the future including engine. Any ideas are appreciated.

The May 2001 issue of Mustang Illustrated (page 10) might help you out a little.
