What brand Control arms are good for 94GT
My bushings are shot on my factory control arms, so I'm getting aftermarket lower control arms with polyurethane bushings. I'll also be getting some subframes. Anyone have good experiences with particular brands? I heard not to get South Side control arms because they were too rigid for a daily driven street/strip car.
Thanks.

anyone? I'd like to order today. Thanks. Oh, another thing... Anyone familiar with "air bags that go in the rear coil spings? My car needs to be raised up a little. The aluminum driveshaft is getting scraped by the parking brake cable & braket.

i can tell you not to buy granatelli lowers, i bought them and the part that houses the bushing isnt even welded, its just crimped together. needless to say, i was at us41 power shifted into 3rd gear and SNAP--------grind the control arm broke making me head right for the wall at 103mph. not a fun experience. i kept control and only f'ed up my quarter and rear bumper from the tire flopping around. but dont buy those. all my buddies have mac uppers and lowers and they are made better quality. i think they are the best for the price. or you can get aluminum steeda ones.

I have airbags, they were already installed when I bought the car. I haven't used them, but from what I gather, they are intended to stiffen the springs to help with wheel hop. I don't believe they can raise the vehicle.

Sorry to hear that sn95gt19.
I called Late Model Restoration supply, and they told me HPM Mega-Bite Jr. Rear Lower Control Arms were REALLY good and noticed the difference from others. Any one familiar with those? Thanks for the info.

I just looked at a set of alum steeda's. They are by far the best pieces that I ever seen. And so light it is hard to emagine that it's true. The air bags, I have had them for four years. They work for many differant situations. When I pull the banshees to the track I lift the car by grabbing the wheel well and picking up while my son puts air in the bags. It holds the back end up to accept the load of the trailer, which has a tong weight of about 120#s. When I race I leave it at stock hieght and put 9lbs in the passenger side.
