Question HELP! -> Keyless Entry

Ok, I disconnected my battery to run some heavier guage wire to my accessory amp for more power. After reconnecting the battery, my keyless entry remote would no longer work. Everything else works just fine, ans yes, my stereo sounds sweet. Has anyone reprogrammed these things before? I don't want the dealer to dry screw me on something as simple as this, especially because I used to professionally install alarms, and stereo systems.

THANKS!

Please don't say I have to go to the dealer.

Do you still have the instruction manual for the keyless entry system? I'm sure they have what to do in there. If not, look around online.

Oh, and why not just call the dealer for instructions? They aren't completely out to get you.

I have looked in the book that came with the car, and they instruct you to go to the dealer. So, every time your battery goes dead, you have to go to the dealer to get re-programmed? That sucks. Even the Haynes manual is all messed up. They think that the keyless entry system is infrared. Shoes you how much they know about keyless entry systems. I will try the dealer on Monday, but I'm not going to pay them anything, I need a job before I can do that! Oh well, thanks anyway.
