Default Oil Pressure Dropped....

I'm stumped. My oil pressure dropped down to 10 psi when im at idle (normally 25) and 60-75 while driving (normally 100+). I have no idea what could be wrong enginewise. Anybodies .02 would be appreciated.
I'm hoping/praying it's just the guage or sending unit going bad.
Thanks,
Don

Is this the stock guage that you are looking at, or an aftermarket one?

stop driving the car. Pull the distributor and check your oil pump shaft. If it is twisted or broken then you have solved your problem. If its not put it back in the oil pump and turn it with a drill to see if your oil pump froze up or is giving too much resistance.

It's an aftermarket gauge. Thanks for the advice. I'll check that tomorrow. Any other possibilities?
