Default i have to work in 13hrs Help!!!!

well it all happened when i decided to take off out of the wendys parking lot..... 1st gear vrrrrrr....chirp 2nd gear vrrrrrr..... chirp 3rd gear...... crrrrr......crrrrr...clunk.....crrrr. crunk cink..... crunk... well goood thing i was only 5miles from home and boy was i not going to call a tow truck so i continued to drive it... continued to make the same noises well guess what guys i have to go to work in about 13hrs and i have no car... i am debateing whether i should just start walking or start fixing... well what do u guys think trans or clutch... clutch feels kinda normal trans shifts ok when the car is
in neutral.... with the clutch pedal down to the floor it doesnt make the chattering noise. but when i let the clutch up it starts clinking and chattering..... or did i bend the input shaft on the trans... sorry about how long it is just kinda confused and time is running out.... oh yeah sorry about the length also.. the car is a 87 5.0 w/ t-5

thanks again guys

It sounds to me more like the trans than the clutch. does it move at all? only make noise in certain gears?
Sorry but it sounds to me like your hitchin a ride tommorow......

makes noise in every gear... no resistance though, it has me stumped because usually if it is a trans problem it would be hard shifting.... it sounds like a dry clinking. i though it sounded like my clutch blew apart...

Sounds like maybe the center hub came apart from the rest of your clutch. I had that happen once. In a Chevy pickup on the interstate with 2ft of snow and no end in sight. Good luck dude. Let us know what the problem was

its your tranny, i did the same thing. you just messed up some syncros, i grinded down most of third gear. if you push the clutch in and it doesn't make noise then it is your tranny. looks like you need a ride.

Sorry dude,
I blew up a T-5 that way. That was also the last time I allowed women to piss me off.

the clutch kinda looses stiffness some times, it is weird it kinda feels like the throw out bearing is messed up... but i am going to finish taking out the tranny tommarow and see what i got hopefully it is not trans even though i know it is.....

Sounds like the tranny to me too. How long have you had your clutch out of curiosity?

like about to years see the thing is.... i didnt put the clutch in the owner before me barley drove the car and the clutch was going so he is one of those guys if u have to buy somthing he will go better performance wise... but c he put a stage 3 clutch in it which is heavy as s**** and i dont think he replaced the throw out bearing and it kinda seemed like i was having probs with it before with it seeming to be sticking
