Cost per HP
Hey ya'll,
Just did a spreadsheet at work to average out the cost per HP gain for all items. To shorten the list I'll show you the averages for the lowest cost items since most of us can't afford the high dollar stuff. Here goes! Bolt ons: Maf,Pullie, cold air, exhaust, chip = $ 15 - $25 per 1 hp Blower: cheapest one = $ 26 per 1 HP gain Heads: cheapst available = $ 20 - $ 30 per 1 HP gain NO2 : average system = $ 6 - $ 12 per 1 HP gain The winner looks like NITROUS but only if you want part time, instant HP. what do you guys think?

I'd go with the blower. Unlike nitrous, the blower is always on. While a blower might have a larger initial cost, buying nitrous all the time can get expensive. If we were all insanely rich we could just buy them all though and we wouldn't have to make such hard decisions.
