Default Spraying paint with flakes

I am going to be painting my 65, (not for awhile though, probably after summer) and I want to paint it a dark silver, with metallic flakes, and black stripes. I was wondering how hard is it to paint with flakes?? Is it easy to do "tiger stripping," as i think its called? I was also thinking, when putting the flakes into the paint, do you run the paint through the strainer, then dump in the flakes?? And, is it best to use like a certain so much flake for each guns full of paint, like a tablespoon for example?? My stepdad will probably be painting it. We painted my jeep, but it was just plain white. So we do have limited experience with painting. This is what I am thinking about doing the rest of my life, (im 17) so i would like to do it myself, plus being 17 means I dont have money everywhere, haha. Thanks for any answers or anything else people can think of to help me out, thanks!!
