Code 81?? Code 51. HELP!!
HELP!! car going overseas, need 2 fix!!
installed gauges yesterday and came up with these engine codes: 81: Air Management 2 (AM2) circuit failure 51: ECT (engine cooling) cuircut open the 51 code is because I installed a new temp gauge and unplugged the stock one. How do I get the code to turn off while keeping my new gauge> 81 code. What is that? This thing has a 5.8 (mostly stock w/some minor upgrades). It has run rough at low speed since install. Have replaced O2 sensors, checked timing, plugs wires vaccum, still runs rough. Could this 81 code be the problem? the check engine light didn't come on till I unplugged the coolant sensor. I did a search and there were multiple things an 81 could be, TAD sensor (can I test that)?or electo-drivefan circuit failure or IAC Valve circuit failure or thermactor air circuit. What are these? can I test any of them? This thing is leaving for the Netherlands on Sunday. HELP!!!
