Default Squeaking coming from front wheels

On my '88GT I started noticing a squeaking sound coming from the front wheels. As I pick up speed it slowly goes away.
I'm also starting to think that it's my throw out bearing because it goes away if I press the clutch in.(at least it seems to go away)
What should I check first?
Is there a way to tell for sure if it is my throw out bearing or not?

the first thing would be to determine if its the wheel or the clutch...

If it's the clutch or flywheel then it doesn't matter because I'm planning on a new clutch next month anyway. I have 94K on the original clutch so I'm guessing it's about time for a new one.

I noticed tonight that there is no squeaking if I coast along with it out of gear. It only does it with the clutch engaged and stops when the clutch is disengaged.
It slowly goes away as I pick up speed.
That narrows it down to somewhere in the clutch assembly.

sounds like the throwout bearing. If your changing the clutch anyway, just make sure you get a new throwout bearing.
