gears question would they
i'm thinking on putting 3.73 gears in my 88 gt 5 spd is my speedo gone be off if yes is there somethink i can do to have it rigth let me know

Your speedo will be off. To make the speedometer correct, you need to get the 21 tooth speedometer gear. If you order your gears from a place like Livernois motorsports, ask about the correct speedometer gear and they will send it with the gears for like $5 extra. To change the gear, you just pull the speedo cable from the tranny, pull the retaining clip out of the gear, and pull the gear off. To quote the Haynes manual, Installation is reverse of the removal. LOL.
EDIT**I'm not for sure if it is the 21 tooth speedo gear or not. That's what my memory says it is.
