Question Rear Bumper Inserts removal

I have some rear bumper inserts on my 94, they're just the plain red ones, and im upgrading to the reflective ones. Any tips on removing the old ones without peeling the paint? It's also 30 degrees outside right now too, will that affect them when i take them off? Any tips about putting in the new ones? Thanks for any input.

1. Get the car indoors and let it warm up.
2. Then get a hair dryer and get the decal hot to the touch and start peeling.
3. Use WD-40 to clean up the residue.
4. Use warm soapy water to clean up the WD-40.
5. Wipe area with alcohol before applying new decals.

That's the easiest way to do it.
