idling problems
I own a 96 GT with the following mods:
1. Motorsport Underdrive Pulleys 2. B&M Ripper Shifter 3. 3.73 Motorsport gears 4. 2.5" MAC Prochamber H-pipe 5. 2.5" Flowmaster American Thunder Cat-back 6. MAC Cold Air Induction (fenderwell style) 7. 87 MM Pro-M Bullet Mass Air Meter 8. 70 MM BBK Throttle Body 9. BBK adjustable fuel pressure regulator 10. Hypertech Power Programmer Plus and 160 degree thermostat Lately the car idle has been around 1600 RPM's. When I changed the throttle position sensor the car still idled too high. I have even changed the idle air control valve. When I unplug the TPS sensor the car idles perfectly but it runs sluggish and the check engine stays on. Anyone had similiar problems please help. |
