MAF and e.t. ???'s
This weekend i went a 13.03 @103.3 with a 1.77 60ft. I want to get it consistently in the 12's before I put my new heads and all on. I still spun some but i also have the stock MAF. Im planning on ordering a C&L 76mm tomorrow for $150. Is this a good price and where can i order the new tube for it when i move to larger injectors? Basically i want to get the most out of this combo before i make any changes so i get a good starting point. What do u guys think it will run by just advancing the timing a couple degrees and adding the MAF?
thanks for the help

theres alot more in your combo as it sits. maybe do some porting on those heads.
You are definately choking that motor with the stock MAF. have you ever seen how small it is inside? I have the C&L and it is a very nice piece. and very easy to change the sample tubes (not sure on where to source them) Where is your timing at now? Play around with 14-16deg initial at the track, and make sure you have atleast 92octane in it. One huge thing to consider is your 60ft time. 1.77 is pretty good, but you said you still spun some, so it could get better. Are you running a full slick or a ETstreet type tire?

I would put the cash towards your new heads.

I think you'll get the 3hundreths of a second you are looking for to see 12.99's if you get it, but if you could get the traction down and not spin at all you would see it too, then you could buy the C&L with the tube you need in it, with the injectors and save some money in the long run.
