![]() I have an 89 LX that utilizes ported parts. I will be staying with the stock cam, injectors, etc. I have a ecm from an 88 car that was also a 5spd. For fun or possibly functionality i want to use it to convert to speed density. I don't want to buy a larger maf right now for the mass system. 88workcar or anyone else have some advice?

![]() I just did this on my 90LX. I had an 88GT and put the engine into the 90LX. I simply used the SD computer and wiring harness from the 88GT on the 90LX. It was really easy.
BTW: I just sold the A9L mass air computer that came out of my 90LX for $160.00 on E-bay. So if you are not gonna use it, it is worth some cash. Do you have any specific questions? I am sure we can help.

![]() Thanks for the response. I only have the ecm and want to use it with my exsisting maf harness. I think it would be possible since to go from sd to maf you move anf add a pins at the ecm connection. Just wonder if anyone knew which wires to disconnect/connect at the ecm.
