E-cam vs. custom cam-Worth the money?
I am ordering a 347 stroker kit this December. My car performs very well with the E-cam.
I was wondering if anyone has went from an E-cam to a custom cam and if they thought it was worth the extra money. combo will be 10.4 to 1 347 stroker Canfield heads 2.02 1.60 cam???? ported cobra intake.

Absolutely worth every penny. Off-the-shelf cams can be easily out performed by the right custom cam so why spend the money twice. You're easily leaving 30hp on the table by running an E-303 cam with that combination. Talk to a custom cam builder and let them recommend a cam that will work well with the parts you've selected.
