Adjust RR running or not running??
Will I put about 60 miles on my motor today and I can start to hear a rocker tapping. I had a hell of a time adjusting them when putting the motor together. It was like some of the lifters were solid. I think it would be a pain to adjust them with the intake on.
How did you guys adjust your rockers? They are stud mounted full roller. Thanks for the help. ------------------ Check my site for mod www.fordmustanggt.com |

the books usually say to adjust with the jam nut and lock them with the hex. if you give them a slight tightening with the jam nut and the hex after adjusting them, the jam nut will make the hex nut even tighter than you could get them with a hex key because the keys bend so easily. this should get them tight enough not to go loose again.
