Talking Supercharger installed

Well Sunday i finally got my supercharger installed and it runs great. I dont really think reality has hit me yet that i now have one on my car LOL! Its a very nice piece though. Right now i letting it break in a little and still hooking up some of the fuel items i need. BTW the A Trim is very loud!

Whats the rest of your combo? would be nice to see what 5psi can do as oppossed to an 8psi s-trim, never hear much about the entry level a-trim much. soon as i get my truck sold and my finances straightened out i will start some mods and am looking at getting a supercharger possibly next year and was interested in seeing what the a-trim can do.

Congrats! The A-trim is a very formidable blower for those who want a 'little' taste of what a supercharger can do. My car orginally came with an A-trim with the stock motor and I thought it was damn quick. The A-trim offers a SWEET sound thats not too loud and annoying.

However, DO NOT put more that 9psi on an A-trim... trust me on this. And thats what Vortech says. Putting a powerpipe on an A-trim will drive it to the max and will increase blower wear. Mine blew a gearing wiht only the 3.33" pulley and a powerpipe seeing 10psi in 1st.

I did have Vortech repair and upgrade it to an S-trim and WOW much more power. I now see over 11psi.... I have no need to go about 5,000 rpms when you hit 11psi! Having an A-trim upgraded to an S-trim made the blower SO MUCH louder... louder than a normal S-trim.

I sure hope you install your new fuel system soon! The last thing you want is detonation with your blower! Make sure you install a new igition.. that will surely help your performance.
