Talking Wanna go REALLY fast?

Well.. we've got a couple pro-stock truck motors sitting at Jerico

That crazy mofo roy hill (roy hills drag school) had them. I believe they were 398's, theyve both got aluminum SVO blocks... dont have spec sheet so dont know what heads, sheet metal intake with a couple barry grant dominators... the usual BS like drysump, motorplate, elec csi WP..

Should both make 900hp. I dunno how much theyve been run, but we wouldnt have bought them if it was much. I believe theyre gonna get torn down, inspected and dynoed. just dont know for sure yet since they showed up today.

Also... these werent in the trucks that 'students' learn on.. those ford trucks actually have GM 502's in them so they arent quite as high strung

lol... anyone? I know i'm not about to spend more on a motor than i did on my car

phil@jericoperformance.com if ya seriously want info

Cool

good god Roy must be hurting for money

I dunno what jerry paid for them...... but he'll sell them for $25,000 each. Thats cheap.

One is a 390, one is a 40X. Both made ~915hp and 600lb-ft on the dyno.

Any suggestions as to where one could post this for sale? I know of a few drag forums but they focus on stock/superstock.

thx

Thursday! Thursday! Thursday!

Well, there's always E-Bay.......I guess.

I was hoping to have the tranny ready in the Cobra, and the GT........well, let's not go there, but I am still going to go to the track tonight(7-5-01). Can I run your car once Phil? I am in serious need of raw horsepower. I figure who better to ask than you? You know, since you have the big bad 'Maro! Ok, I'm done rambling. Later.

Wink

Heh heh, Yeah, I'd be a bit worried too. That much power on a stock rear end is trouble waiting to happen. Well, with slicks anyway. I'd offer to let you drive the Focus, but...uh....you won't like it. Not enough power, yet. Later man.
