Stock rim offsets on 2001 GT
Can anyone tell me what the offset is on the stock bullit-style rims that come with the premium package? Also, does this make a significant difference on anything other then potential tire rub on the fender with a larger offset? (like looks)
Thanks stangers. |

Backspacing on those wheels should be 5.72". Offset is the distance between the wheels hub mounting surface and the centerline of the wheel, so the offset is +1.72". Too much backspacing and the inside edge of the front wheels may rub on your swaybar or strut. Not enough backspacing and the wheel starts to stick out from the well and you get that look that many hispanic folks are so fond of.
