Question Speed

I'm going to get a mustang and I want to know a few questions.
For years 94 to 98 what is the gas mileage and top speeds for the V6 5 speed and the V8 GT 5 speed? I want to get the V8 but depending on the gas mileage I might go for the V6. Your reply is appretiated, thanks.

Default Look here...

Try looking at www.edmunds.com it give the specs for all year models and such. Just look up the particular year model and stuff... i know in the past it showed how it compared to other years of the same model as well..

Thanks for the mileage info, I'll keep that in mind. Now, does anyone know how fast the V6 and V8 go. I checked out edmunds and they gave all the mileage and horsepower but no tests for acceleration or top speed. If someone could tell me a little about that I would appretiate it.

Default On line search?

My advice is to do an online search. Go to sites for Road and Track, Car and Driver, Motor Trend, etc. They probably have a search engine just for their tests. There must be just tons of Mustang tests catalogued at those and other sites.

Did many 5.0 coupes come with almost no options? Mine doesn't have power windows/mirrors/seats/door locks/trunklock, plain lowback cloth seats, no AC or cruise control, and I'm not sure it came with a tape deck either. I don't really care about any of the options except for the cheap seats.

Most LX 5.0s I've seen did not have the high back sport bucket seats. Most of the LXs and GTs had the power options group that I've seen. Even most of the 4cylinder cars.
