351W belt routing
I just put a 351 in my stang. Right now, I am using the 5.0 water pump(new), power steering, alternator, and belt tensioner. I have a 76" belt on it right now and it is only about 1/4" off of itself at the tensioner. The belt is routed like the 70.5 belt shown in the link except for it goes around the ps and no ac. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...ps/index.shtml This is what I want to run. I am using all 5.0 brackets too. I would like to know what people are running on their 351's. I liked to never got that 76" belt on either. I had to let the alternator lay against the belt tensioner and force the belt around the water pump pulley. Then, pry on the alternator to get that top bolt in. It all looked good when the belt was new. Now it is a week old and has stretched some. Oh yeah, I don't have under drive pulleys.
