Im doing a cam change in the mustang. I havent ordered my replacement cam yet. So, tonite I started to prep the vehicle by taking the old one out. I always new it was big cam, but ****;
Noway in hell would I put this cam in a daily driver.

Lunati 51012

Duration advertised: 290/300
@.050 232/242

Lift; .544/.560
LSA 112
Powerband 2800- 6500
(This car has been my daily driver for 1.5 years. It got 18mpg on the highway and 8mpg in the city.)

Now I am stuck. I was going to order the compu cam 2020 208/216 and .530/.530 lift (179.00). Now I dont know. I didnt think the guy I bought the car from put that big a cam in it. Summit has the Trick flow stage 1 for 139.00. I am not looking for anything special and a bargin cam would do fine.

Your suggestions please?

I'd just get a TFS #1 cam. It's a good daily driver cam.

Follow-up

The TF stage 1 is in and what a differance, my low end is back. I dont need the vac canister for the brakes. From a stop I can light the tires. I just need to fine tune the idle, but overall what a diff.
