![]() hi i was wornding if any one knows anthing about a 69 mustang haveing turn signals on the hood scoop, as my ant has just aquired one with them.

![]() David I don't recall seeing them on the 69 but my 70 had them on the back of the hood scoop. If you can't get a straight answer go to www.network54.com/Forum/119419/ and you can get a straight answer there.

![]() yes im sure of the year cause my ant got it from her uncle who got it new in 69, the vin number says it's a 69 and the numbers all match. heres a pic [IMG]

![]() Hey David I wasn't questioning your judgement I was just letting you know I don't have alot of background with 69's. I am glad to see you have the clarification on it though. Did you get a chance to check out the forum yet? There is a wealth of knowledge and some of todays best FORD men on the site. Best of luck and have you driven a FORD lately?

![]() my father has a 1969 fastback and the hood scoop is exactly like that one and its still working.
i have never seen a 1969 even early 70's with disk brakes. all ive seen is drum brakes. those cannot be original

![]() Disc brakes were an option that approximately 28% of Mustangs had for 1969. They were not available on the six-cylinder cars. My Fastback disc brakes are original.

i havent laid hands on deluxe models(fastback deluxe for example), is your a deluxe??? i have worked with some 69 fastbacks, a couple of 66 coupe, 1 68 f.b., couple torinos...............i have never worked with 429. i have seen and drive em but i havent worked on those motors. thanks for the info though
