could the 351w swap heddman headers #88650 fit in a 66 mustang with a 289 engine? they will shure fit in the heads, and probably will clear the shock towers, but I don't know if the colectors will clear the transmission, clutch linkage etc.. thanks Efrain |

![]() The only difference will be that they hang lower and closer to the ground. I have never seen in recent years a Long tube header for the early models that properly clears the clutch Z bar though. You may ned up wanting/needing to convert to hydralic or cable operated clutch.
