![]() HHA HA HA..... Well It's funny, but not really.... I was doing some thinking about my combo thats almost ready to go in the car and thinking that some things were meant to be a certain way for a reason...
70 Stangs that came with toploaders had bellhousings with certain dimensions.... Well here's what I've done now, can someone please tell me I'm okay and I'm not putting my shifter into the ashtray and it'll be fine? or tell me I'm off my rocker and I've made a mistake here. 70 Stang with a 351 Cleveland. I've had the engine balanced to the newer 50 oz. 10 1/2" Clutch and Flywheel of the newer 5.0 Stangs. I've got the 10-1/2" clutch. I've got a Scattershield that fits a 5.0 Mustang. I've got a Tremec TKO with input shaft that fits a 5.0 Stang. And I've got the Pro 5.0 shifter that obviously you'd put on that transmission and comfortably short-shift in a 5.0 Stang....... That's all. Am I overreacting? or shifting through the ashtray?
