![]() I am in the middle of building a Cobra replica car. I am using a 351w as the powerplant for my project. The engine is from a '77 thunderbird. When it is in the new car how will it be rated for emissions. Will it be based on the '77 emissions, or on the current qualifications. I also have the original smog pump that hooks into the heads I have been told I can plug off the heads and not use it. I have also been told that they go on when I say the engine was made. Does anyone know the REAL truth??? Any input would be a great help.thanx.
