![]() I was wondering if anyone here uses one of the custom auto insurance companies. In my case my car is an '88 which book values for about $2000 maybe... I don't even know. The problem is I've got like way too much money invested in it like most. So if it gets stolen or some drunk t-bones me I don't get enough money to buy another set of heads. I've heard of these companies that just handle collector cars and street rods that see limited road use and they are insured for an "agreed" value. For instance I say my car is worth $15,000 and they figure my rate to be $180/year. Does anyone here use an insurer like that? I'd love to get some feedback and references if possible. Thanks.
