Smile Greetings!

Greetings Mustang drivers!

My name is Jesse and I have recently purchased my first Ford as a gift to myself. It's a 2002 mineral gray Mustang V6, 5-speed.
I opted to go with the 6 cylinder for the simple fact that at the age of 21, my insurance would have been nothing less than ridiculous if I drove a GT. However, I'm very much in love with my Mustang and it's sparked my interest in getting to know how my car works and how I could give it just a bit more HP. I'm quite new to the workings of engines, shocks, exhaust and things of that sort so I hope I don't get laughed at TOO much.

With that being said, I'd like to ask if there is anything small I can do to help get my pony a bit quicker. I don't plan on doing much to the car. A lot of people have told me that the money I could put into this car could've gone to the purchase of the 8-cylinder model. I tell them not to worry for my next Mustang will most definitely be heavy under the hood.

A big thank you in advance!
