RPM performer heads w/2.02 intake valves ?
How much power would the RPM performer heads w/2.02 intake valves, heads give me (guestimate), if im running gt-40 upper and lower, on a 10.5.1 motor, over my old gt-40 alum. heads ???
i found a pair for $800 bucks brand new with 1.7 svo rockers

1990 Mustang GT Engine- 308 (bored .40 over) Probe Forged pistons (10.5:1), Scat forged crank and rods, w/Main Girdle, AFR 185 heads, GT-40 intake, CSI electric water pump. AC delete kit, No smog pump, Manual rack and pinion steering. Ignition- MSD 6AL, MSD Blaster coil, MSD hellicore wires. Drive Train- Tremic 3550, Alum. Drive shaft, 3:73 gears, Stock carrier and axels. 26X11.5 M/T Et streets. Power adder- 175 shot of laughing gas. I would guess maybe 20ish hp max. The eddy heads just aren't that great.
I think the $800 would be better spent in other places. -Josh, aka the tireburner

Depends on which part number they carry... if they're the 6025's then you'll pick up less HP/TQ compared to the 'new' 60259's which utilize revised (improved) combustion chambers, intake and exhaust ports, etc.
The RPM's are better than the GT40's ...but not by a huge margin by any means, but they are better. What camshaft do you use? Josh makes a good point, in that the money could be better spent elsewhere. Maybe some good axles and a locker, for starters (looking at your sig). Quote:
