![]() OK! My first post on the Mustang forum.
heres sme background info: I just picked up my 1990 Mustang with a 2.3L. 5 spd. Its got 218000kms (136000mi). My brother has owned it for a while, probably 6 or more years, so I've driven it a fair bit. Its had this nasty sqeak for as long as I can remember. Any inspiration on whats causing this? I know its not the struts, they're new. My first thought about the squeak was suspension, but Summit Racing is selling 'Subframe Connectors' that reduce body flex and squeaks and creaks too. Its Summit Part number 'SUM-790100' Is this the quick fix for my squeak? Also, has anyone made brackets to put on a GM power steering pump? That whine is pretty annoying. My A/C doesn't work. I haven't checked it out or anything, so I have no idea whats up? Is there any common problems I can check out first? Anyways, sorry for the lengthy post, I didn't mean to make it a novel. |
