New T-Bird guy here. Are my kind allowed here??
Hi everyone. Just figured I'd see what was going on in Mustangville.
I drive an 89 T-bird super coupe 5spd. What do you guys and gals think of the SC's? |
Welcome
Welcome aboard!
My brother had a SC thunderbird, and for it being stock,I was always impressed on how hard they tend to pull with the blower.Modify them, and they'd be a street car that would cause havoc with many mustang owners. |
welcome, if i did'nt have a stang a bird would be my next choice, he-- yes, your welcome here, a ford is a ford welome aboard, there are a few t- bird owner's here , cya:)

Get the hell out of here! We don't want any non-mustangs polluting our site! How dare you invade us.
Naw, just playing. Everyone is welcome as long as they're cool with everyone else. I'm sure you'll find the people here to be very friendly and knowledgeable. Best of luck to you. |
WELCOME
The more, the merrier:D |
Cool I had a freind that had one tell he need $$$ sold it for 2 times what he paid for it... He was happy about that!!! they are a nice car.
|
Thanks for the welcome. I like mustangs too. But I got the SC because they are unique. Most people don't even know what they are. They just think I have a 5.0 bird with ground effects. After I get it inspected I'm going to gut the cats and do some budget exhaust work. Then I can put a 10% pulley on the blower and really wake the car up. Then I can surprise some F-bodies! :D

Welcome to Mustang Works! :)

Welcome to the site. I'll be the first to say, I don't know what a SC bird is. Do u have any pics?
My second chioce for a car whould be a '56 T-Bird, removable hard top, with the port hole in the back. Am I not the only? |

Welcome to Mustang Works. A Super Coupe, dont see many of those around. I think there neat cars. And when you do, there usually pretty beat and worn. One thing, Fords 3.8 Liter has a hell of alot bigger aftermarket than GM's 3.8 Liter. |

Edit: What did I do? I just pushed "preview" to see if the pic would work. I guess it didn't! Mustangman 65_79, The pic I have isn't even of my car. My scanner poofed on me. But here is a link that has plenty of pics of SC's:http://www.sccoa.com/ SC's were made from 89 to 95. They have super charged 3.8 six cylinders. Some came with a manual trans. Here are some numbers: 89-93=210hp and 315ft-lbs of torque. 94-94=230hp and 330ft-lbs of torque |
