Losing your hood...
It finally happened to me. Like so many other bruised 'Stangs i've seen at the track and on the street.
I washed my car before headingout to the track. I forgot to put my hood pins back in, and BAM!!! It flew up at the top of first gear. I got a lot of the dent out of the cowl, (thanks to my el'cheapo flyweight Ebay special..) but the plastic grate is smashed to smithereens. My Welds have little marks in the aluminum, a few rust spots are starting to poke through on the body, and now this. Time for a facelift I guess.  |
