Post Something’s wrong with the mustang!

Today I was driving home from work and out of nowhere the car started making a clicking noise and then shut off and it wont run. This sucks!!!!

I guess I get to tear it apart and try to find out what is wrong with it.

Anyone want to guess at what it is?

How exactly did it "shut off"? Was it sudden or a slow death? Any clue what general area the clicking came from? Any clues on the gauges or anything?

It shut off slow, if I rev the motor it will run but it feels real ruff and it makes a lot of noise. I think it might be a rocker arm or at least I'm hoping that is what it is. Last time it gave me more warning when the rocker came loose, this time it sounded like something let lose all of a sudden.

I am about to go and start working on it; I will let you know what it is.

I found the problem; one of the rocker studs broke off. So I get to see if I can find one stud so I don't have to buy a whole set of them.
The studs are 5/16"; I ordered 7/16" studs and rockers from excessive motorsports and they sent me the wrong ones.

Found another problem; I dropped one of the valves. I hope the piston and head is ok.
