Default Sold the Mustang

Well, after much debate, I sold the Stang last night. I listed it in autotrader Saturday and it was gone last night.

It slowly didn't seem to fit into my long term plans. I learned a TON working on it and plan to apply that to what I hope will be my next project....a FFR Cobra. I have fallen in love with them and must build one now.

Best thing Ive heard all day.

Heres the best site for FFR's ffcobra.com

The only thing I regret about getting FFR, is that I didn't do years ago!

good luck!

Trust me, I have had you in mind as I thought about this project . It may be 2 years before I actually can start it, but I may look to you for information. I am really excited about the thought of building and owning one though.

The Cobra is definitely a head turner. My stang used to draw some attention too, but I can't imagine all the heads that Cobra would turn.

Im glad more people don't know how much ive spent on this, because there'd be a whole heck of alot more running around.

Now only does it turn heads. But when your riding around in it, nothing really seems to matter anymore. Kinda like hot rod therapy. I never thought a darn car could be this much fun!

$5,500. I think I could have easily got 6 or 6,500 for it judging from the number of calls I got. Fox bodies seem to be high around here....the first 12 listings on autotrader in my area were all 6 grand or higher. Probably why mine sold so fast.

I am getting more and more excited about the prospects of doing this project. It seems that they can be built for very little money, all things considered. Awesome looks, super car perforance, and I get to say I built it!?! Sign me up

Cool Dyna Wide Glide

This is a fxdwg and this one is exactly like the one I have, except I've added a small windshield and fender rack. It is soo comfortable. I rode it up to Va. and back this past weekend(5 1/2 hrs, each way) and got over 47 mpg! I'm planning to ride it to Fla in the near future, weather permitting.

I'm planning on some different rims and paint.. I love it!

I just wanted to add that I've got over 2100 miles on it already, at this rate it will have more miles than the mustang before long.

That is a good looking bike! Makes me miss my little crotchrocket.

Man, I might cry.....no stang and no motorcycle right now. How sad

Man, that must suck. I still have the VFR if you're interested in it, I haven't ridden it since I got the Harley. You really should go test ride a Harley.

My dad's best friend rides a harley and would let me try it out. The time he offered though I was too worried about dumping it. It weighs so much more than my bike did and I would feel horrible if i screwed up his harley.

Another bike is definitely in my future, I just need to be patient.
