Default Performance upgrades for 2002 GT 5 speed

Proud New owner of a 2002 GT 5 speed needs advice for minor performance
enhancing parts. This is a daily driver and serves as our family car. Would a gear change be the best move at this point? Have considered 3:73's but im not sure which gear came in the car from factory. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your help

I'm hearing that 4.10 gears are the best ratio and the best mod thus far.
A shifter, exhaust, and pullies are also very good and affordable

the 4.10s are stellar for a hard rip off the line, but if you do a lot of highway travel then you might want to get something a bit less steep. the pulleys are a good choice, and the header, pipe, exhaust is always a good gain of HP, and a good sound. I agree with the shifter as well, and I'd also look into getting an aluminum flywheel, faster accelleration due to less mass to spin up. grats on the car. I'm picking up mine early this week
