95 GT - How bad is my computer hurting my performance?
After installing my intake, new mass air sensor, and 24lb injectors I didn't see any performance increase. My friend has a 2000 GT and before those mods we were a pretty even race. I thought for sure these mods would put me ahead of him. After installing the new injectors I left my fuel pressure at 40psi. Some people say my computer will ajust the fuel itself. I also read that the 95 GT EEC's are junk. Do I need a whole new computer? Or will a custom chip (JMS) help fix my prolem?

Why did you think you needed 24s in the first place??? 19s can handle well over 300 hp, and you aren't close to that yet. Also a 70mm TB is way too big for you combo...get a 65. The 95 EECs arent the greatest, but did someone tell you that you needed more fuel? Anyways if you adjust the FP the EEC will compensate for it over time.

I have a NOS stage II kit that I haven't had a chance to install yet. But once I get that on. I'll start with a 75 shot but after I'm sure everything is running O.K. I'm going to put in the 150hp jets. And I'll need the injectors then.

What can a custom chip do for me? Can it keep my computer from adjusting to compinsate for fuel pressure adjustments? And heard from a friend that they can also take away my top speed limiter.
