Default Rear Brake Problem.....

Just changed out the brakes on my 94 GT. Calipers don't compress they have to screw back into place. F'ing weird, but anyways after finishing drove for a mile and my rotors are too hot too touch. What did I do wrong.... any ideas? Never had a problem like this before.
