Default Aftermarket 4.6L parts, what works?.....new project!

I'm new to the 4.6L thing as i just bought a '97 crown vic police interceptor (i've wanted one for a long time) and i was wondering a few things about parts interchangability between the 4.6's and between model lines. What would you guys recommend for intake manifolds, heads, etc. any good web sites to visit for info or parts? the more i know the better, I plan on putting on headers, intake manifold and i have a nitrous oxide kit laying around as well as a few gear sets (4.10's going in this baby!). This is just the start, i've always wanted a "big car" that's quick (4200 lbs....yikes).
Anyway, thanks for reading this, let me know what you recommend

4.10s are a must for a 4.6L. As far as heads I think they are online with the 96-98 mustangs. You may be able to convert to a 99-04 GT PI heads and intake. Not sure just a thought.

I found out that the Police package CV's had 210 horsepower, I'm probably going to investigate buying the power improved stuff and see where i can get a good deal on it. thanks for your input.

The Crown Vic has a different intake setup than the Mustang/T'bird/ Cougar setup. Try this site: www.crownvic.net

A custom dual exhaust on a C/V is a must...

thanks for the replies, From what i've been reading i believe either the intake manifolds will swap (the intake elbow just goes to the driver's side instead of the passanger side) and i might be able to just modify the car enough to swap it over. This probably won't be a simple bolt on, i think i've heard the EGR mounting is different as well. I'd really like to get the power improved stuff as well as a trick flow intake elbow, aftermarket throttle body, MAF sensor and of course a nice sounding exhaust (haven't decided on if i want 2 1/4 or 2 1/2" exhaust yet). I also found out i can swap out my 5.0L throttle plate from existing nitrous oxide kit and just use a
nozzle in the intake tract somewhere, which won't cost that much.
Anyway, thanks for the replies and if anyone else can think of anything to pep this thing up i would really appreciate it.
