Post throttle bodies......

I thought that by putting on a larger t/b, that you'd lose hp and torque unless your motor was modified. But in the Jan 2000 issue of MM&FF, they added a 70mm t/b to a 99GT and picked up 3.8 hp and 3.4 lbs-ft. Would I notice similar gains by adding a 70mm t/b to my 96 GT? Thanks!
