Whats the name?
 

I recently bought a 92 LX from my mom, and the guy that had it before her bought it from the state of Cali I'm guessing.
So when he repainted the body he sanded the black stripping that is above the door opening when you open it.
I don't know what it's called, that's why I'm here.
But the following link has a picture or what I'm talking about.
It's not my car in the pic, just so you don't have to ask.
Does anyone know what this is called and where I can get some?

I think you are referring to the weatherstripping. If so, you can find it advertised in Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords or 5.0 magazines. I think 5.0 Resto has it and I'm sure Year One has it too.

well thats a disappointment.
I know it's not the weatherstripping though, it's on the outside of the car, and some mustangs have this black strip painted.
I'll try again and see if I can get a pic up that works.
I tried to load it up with the message but that didn't seem to work.

Roof rail molding. Not cheap either. I got mine from 50resto -

Thanks for the replies, I got an answer from a seperate website.
But both refer to 50resto.com.
And yes it was the roof rail molding, grr I wish I had a job to afford all the crap I could get for it.
Insurance must come first.
