Building a 351w, advice
I am contemplating/planning on building a 351 Windsor to put into my 90 stang. I'm in the preliminary stage, haven't bought anything yet, but looking for advice on basic stuff, like heads, cam, pistons, etc. to put on it. I'm looking for any advice on what to get, or tips/warnings for building it. Thanks!

heres a nice little combo for ya. 351 .030 over, trw or better pistons to give 10:1 comp., zero gap rings, stock bottom end, main, rod and head studs, herbert f6j solid roller cam, roller lifters(also from herbert) , windsor sr heads with clean up, victor jr intake, 750 dp carb, roller rockers, 1 3/4 full length headers, msd dist., and all other basic stuff needed.
this setup done right will cost around 3000$ and will put you in the mid 11's. this same setup went 11.80 consistently in my car and i left the line slow. |
