351W Swap
Just fell into a great deal. 1985 mustang (freebee). No engine or transmisson. Was a 5 speed. Body in good shape. Needs paint but very little body work. Have a 1986 F150 pickup with 351W and C6 tranny (Freebee). Would like to know what, if any problems that I may come across when making the swap. I think I will need to change the oil pan and oil pickup. Engine has a carb on it now. Do not really know much about the things that will need to be done. In need of help.
Just would like to say, I have learned a lot on this fourm. My ride is now a 1990 GT Convertable. Man what a ride. It puts a on my face. Now looking forward to the 1985 mustang project. Maybe learn some more. Thanks P51Mustang |
