![]() My father in-law is going to buy a 92 Mustang in need of a new transmission. It has AOD in it right now. Which is better, rebuild it or replace it? If replacement is the recommendation could someone recommend a brand and possibly the cheapest place to buy. Summit has a TCI AOD for $1149.00. If rebuilding is the best option how much does it usually costs with parts and labor? I live in the DFW metro area so if someone has a shop recommendation I would appreciate it. He is not wanting a high performance tranny.
