Question Belt Length & A/C Eliminator Kit for Dummies

Hello everyone!

Well, for the time being, I went with the Ford A/C eliminator kit and kept the P/S. First, let me say that THE A/C ELIMINATOR KIT SHOULD COME WITH iNSTRUCTIONS!!!! At least mine did not!

I used the exploded view in the shop manual to go by, but with all those little parts and arrows and bolts, it was tough to figure out exactly what went where. It seemed to me that I had to remove the pulley. This REALLY frustrated me, and I even bought a pulley removal tool and attempted to remove the pulley
(unsuccessfully) before further study of the diagram resulted in the enlightenment!

For those of you considering this route, IT IS REALLY MUCH EASIER
THAN I MADE IT OUT TO BE!

Anyway, back to my inquiry.

As a baseline to start from, could someone out there with a similar setup tell me what belt length they are using?

My setup is as follows:
ALT, CRANK, WP, P/S, tensioner
I don't have the smog pump or the A/C anymore.
((I know, I'm taking the lazy internet way to find out))
:-)

Also, during my ordeal, I pumped some (most?) of the fluid from the P/S resevoir and unhooked the two lines from the pump. Of course, only after the 'enlightenment' did I realize I never needed
to do this, but.....I reconnected everything and refilled the resevoir. I have NOT started the car yet.

Have I screwed up? Is there anything I can do before starting it to avoid getting air in the P/S system?

Thanks for any help, suggestions, tips, humorous comments!
