Default i need help with my NOS system

okay here is the problem i want to run a 150 shot but all the techs at nos say i need to put an inline pump in that will boost the pressure right now im running 135 with a 190 intake is anybody running a 150 with just the intake pump i also have a 255 that i was pplaning on putting in any help would be very apriciated im going to the track sat and kinda need some imput thanks

Default yeha....

I agree with fiveohpatrol. That's a lot of juice and if you go lean you are screwed. Do you have a progressive controller for the NO? If not how is that as far as the shock on the tires?

The 190 would be enough if you were still stock, but with the addition of heads on your setup, your going to be pushing the 190. Better go with the 255 for safety, unless you just like changing headgaskets .

I run a 255 itank with no other additional pump.

how much of a shot are you running with the 255

The tech's at NOS are right on, the in-tank pump will not provide the overall volume you need, yes, people get by with just the in-tank, but it is a gamble, do you want to gamble on your motor, an in-line pump is much cheaper than holed pistons.

My fuel pressure stays a tad above 80 psi all the way down the track, but yes if I found a deal on a booster pump I would put it on. It can't hurt and is good insurance.
