Question Making the right mods : Need major opinions!

Hi,
Ok, just so you know what I have, and what
I want, here goes...

I have a stock 1989 5.0L engine with either a mild aftermarket cam, or rockers setup. Along with 3.55 gears, and a Mac cat-back. I want to build it up for more power (enough the drivetrain can haldle without breaking down), little by little, and with my limited budget, here's what I plan on buying for this year:

- 73mm C&L MAF (for 19# injectors) ($80)
- FMS 65mm TB ($76 so far on eBay)
- Explorer Upper/Lower intake (not sure on $)

Question is, amd I going in the right order so far? I know I can get difference with the MAF, but the 65mm wouldn't be any good to my stock intake. Although at that price, it's a steal and it can be useful for a bigger intake.

What do I do? I can get the MAF cuz its from a private seller; the TB I'd have to wait for the bid to end.

Thanks!
Bye!
