Well, here is my new combo, AFM cam specs inside
I went with the Anderson N-113 cam.
It has the following specs: Intake / Exhaust Advertised Duration 337 345 Duration at .050 270 278 Lobe lift @ cam .360 .360 Gross lift w/ 1.6's .576 .576 Valve lash Hot .000 .000 Lobe seperation 108 Camshaft centerline 104 112 Rest of the combo is below. I am looking for 6700 rpm shiftpoints and 120+mph in the quarter mile. This is the same cam Anderson used to make 458rwhp on one of there 347's. http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.co...s/347dyno1.jpg Any thoughts guys. |
nice
but one thing, I really think you should stick to a 302 with stock ported heads and an explorer intake. Just bring your car by my garage, and I'll gladly swap engines with you. It will be a hassle, but you'll be glad you did it. :D all joking aside, thats gonna be one BADASS car |
this months and last months MM&FF had a 347 w/205 AFRs with a SOLID ROLLER XE292 making 531 hp w/ a victor jr and 850 demon with the hyd. roller XE282 made 485 thats a 230/240 @ .050 .576 lift i think (282 XE) so you should make efi hp of about 450-485 hp efi car

Whats in that mystery motor?
Skyler |
I just called up to Andersons today and ordered my cam. Rick told me to go with the N-71 for my setup...
|
Did he give you a power prediction?
|
Nope...
|
FYI That cam is for sale used in perfect shape. Performance Specialties 610-326-7000. Not sure how much they want.
|
After all the $$$ I have dropped into the stang recently I am just going to continue to shell out a little more money and buy all new. The only thing I would ever buy used is headers or h-pipe.

Let me tell you all a little about Rick Anderson, he's a salesman, unless you dyno with him, he'll sell you a "B" cam for a nitrous combo.
