Buy the Mustang Performance Handbook-II, as they have some specs in there. But basically ANY hunk-o-metal will do... (sort'a).

![]() tireburner, my subframes are made out of rectangular stock mild steel. they were bent at a metal shop. actually my friend makes them all the time. that is were they are from. what do you want to know? where to bend the metal? if you want i could measure mine. i dont know what gauge steel mine is, but it is pretty hefty. rectangular stock works great and square stock seems a little to big. mine you cant see unless you look underneath as for some that i seen you can see them from the side! let me know.
