Default Hesitant Start on Cold mornings

Ok my car has about 110000 miles on it.Battery is fairly new, not sure about the starter, and plugs are in need of a change. Since the cold weather has decided to set in down here i try to start my car a little ealier before work.Well when i go outside it seems a little hesitant about starting.Taking a few extra cranks, then makes a little screeching sound kinda like a chirp the first second or so..I know its not the belt making the sound..Think its the starter, and the plugs, or just the car getting a little old and tired..
