![]() I finally got my engine out and secured on my stand.I bought a new stand rated at 1000 lbs. and it was cheaper than I expected.($49.00)I know many engines have been built on a stand but my question is are there any precautions I should take to insure this thing stays put.I have been wrenching on this thing and it appears to hold well but it sways like crazy.I am curious if these 4 bolts will actually support my 331 replacement (with all the bolt- ons attatched)I bought this stand at a local tool shop called Harbor Freight Tools and I am not sure what brand it is.Are all stands the same are is there one better that I should look for.I am finally getting deep in this project and get ready for many questions as I am learning as I go.I will post some pics of my mess later today. Thanks for any help in advance
